All payments for products you have purchased via Glopal's international checkout are processed by a secure PSP. While merchants working with Glopal can have access to a multiude of local payment methods available in their Glopal checkout, some merchant still use the deprecated PayPal integration. Both integrations are outlined in this article.
Payments processed by Glopal
Glopal uses secure world-class PSP's to process all the payments. Thanks to this integration, a wide range of local payment methods is visible in the Glopal checkout for a single payment fee of 3.9% of the total order value.
The payments are processed in the following way:
- buyer chooses one of the payment options in the checkout
- Glopal receives the payment from the buyer in the buyer's currency
- Glopal sends the funds directly to the seller's bank account in a bi-weekly or monthly payout
The seller receives all the payout details in a report accompanying the payout.
Payments processed by PayPal
Glopal uses a PayPal integration which enables the PayPal Express experience where all the buyer's data is populated in advance and the PayPal guest checkout which enables making payments using credit cards.
Depending on the chosen shipping service provider your payment will be ether split into two parts by PayPal or the full amount will be transferred to the seller.
