How are duties and taxes calculated?

This main goal of the Glopal Compliance Module is to deliver a final price to an international buyer.
 
The final price will consist of the item and shipping cost (set up by the seller along with any item/region/promo specifications) along with duties and taxes (calculated by Glopal in real time based on multiple variables discussed and agreed on with the merchant during the set up process).

The idea is that the buyer will pay the total price upfront and will not be charged with any additional cost upon the item's arrival.

The duties and taxes will be calculated based on such attributes as:

• Item price
• Country of origin
• Country of destination
• Weight of the item
• Materials item is made of
• Etc.
