Glopal's goal is to make buying and selling internationally easy and accessible to anyone. However, we operate in an increasingly complex international context and not all the products can be shipped to all the locations.
In this article, we will attempt to provide a complete list of products which cannot be shipped internationally.

If the product that you would like to buy is being shipped by Glopal, you have to take into account that it might be too heavy or too bulky to be shipped internationally.
For products shipping from the US, we accept shipments up to 30kg/66 lbs and up to 1.5 m/60 inches.
For products shipping from the UK, we accept shipments up to 50kg/110 lbs and up to 1.5 m/60 inches.
Please bear in mind that this only refers to the shipments operated by Glopal and if the shipment is operated by one of our partners, the limitations might be different.
Products which cannot be shipped because of the price
The orders shipped via Glopal are insured up to the value of 5000 EUR. Therefore, we cannot ship any products above this value.

Products which cannot be shipped because they are considered dangerous
Glopal shipping services range from the best-in-class express delivery to various postal services. The latter are frequently operated by passenger planes which is why even a single drop of a potentially flammable substance will be considered a dangerous good.

The term “dangerous goods” is commonly used to describe hazardous materials.
Dangerous goods are generally prohibited in international shipping.
They are divided in 9 hazard classes:

Certain types of lithium batteries
There is a risk of certain lithium batteries catching fire. New regulations restrict the shipment of certain types of lithium batteries, which are considered "dangerous goods".
May be shipped:
- Only lithium cells and batteries that are properly installed in the equipment they are intended to operate may be sent internationally.
Can not be shipped:
- Lithium batteries packed with, but not installed in, equipment and
- Lithium batteries sent separately from equipment are prohibited.
- Damaged or recalled batteries are prohibited and may not be mailed internationally under any circumstances.
Electronic devices containing lithium batteries, such as mobile phones, MP3 players, digital cameras, etc., are permitted in international postal transport as long as the battery is installed within the device and in excellent condition.
- Each parcel may not contain more than two batteries or four cells
- Loose or damaged lithium batteries are not permitted
- Outer packaging must protect the contents of the item from breakage and shock during transport
- Devices must be packaged in such a way that they cannot be switched on by accident
- Original packaging should be used whenever possible

- Items destined for countries subject to U.S. or international embargoes

Items Subject to CITES Restrictions
Many countries are parties to the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (“CITES”).
Products that fall within one of the CITES classifications cannot be exported or imported unless special permits are obtained. There are extensive lists of animals and plants covered by CITES, but they are listed by Latin name (genus and species).
